In 2020, MK brought his idea of  virtual big band, featuring some of the best artists from around the world, to fruition. With his musical partners Jaelem Bhate (arranger), and Jared Richardson (mixing), Michael has commissioned arrangements featuring his stunningly high trumpet playing; Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, and themes from the Nightmare before Christmas. Further arrangements from guests Fred Stride and Daniel Hersog of Artistry in Rhythm and O Holy Night, as well as guest appearances by Bobby Medina, Dave Dunlop, and Ron Di Lauro.

Upcoming releases from the team of Kim, Bhate and Richardson include Harry Potter, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, Reflection from Mulan (feat. Steve Wiest), and A Whole New World from Aladdin (feat. Eric Miyashiro).
